i was wondering if anyone had a suggestion as to the best and easiest to use ? i am looking to get something with around 128 mb of memory

i was going to say the Rio Volt. at least that is what im getting next. My Rio 500 broke :(

for once I agree with nate, although the MM cards are expensive for an upgrade.

i have around 96 mb of compact flash cards from my dig camera so wanted to get something that is also compact flash compatable

The Rio Volt is about $150. I like mine, but I have a few gripes. It's a little bulky, and the remote sucks. The upgradable firmware is a big plus.

there is a player by Intel that supposedly has great audio quality. Dunno if it uses compact flash though...

i have a buddy who can get the TDK mojo....the disk one whick retails for around 150 for close to his cost....only draw back is its a disc ( so can skip ) plus basically is the cost and the fact that it has 8 minute skip protection on the mp3 playback ( nice touch ).
