What port number does ICMP have?

I've been attacked by a little weiner, now I've set up a firewall (freeware, eSafe, it's prolly good enough for my needs), and it might be blocking it already, but I'm not sure it does......block ICMP that is. I got ICMP attacks, so if anyone knows what port ICMP is on, please let me know

The concept of ports does not apply to ICMP.

Get someone to ping you. See if your computer replies.

I think shields up from http://www.grc.com might do this.
