This is what gets to me the most out of the whole PC movement. While the biological basis for race is pretty much up in the air, skin color is not the "only" difference between us. Bone structure, lack of resistance to certain diseases, "white men can't jump," and yes, even brain size *ghasps..then shakes hand as Asians..damn you and your large brains!*

We watched a movie in the 7th grade, and this is a direct quote (at least as far as I remember it): "Skin color is decided by only 3 genes! (not sure of the number) We have *blah blah* genes! We're all the same!"

...I wanted to rip the fruity announcer and kids from the videotape and ask what the average difference between a white and black person was compared to two white or black people. Talk about twisting words.

People are different, and there are trends among the racial lines (although more culturally). Get over it. Ignoring it doesn't help anything.

I don't even think "African-American" is really PC anymore. You can get away with saying "black" without any problems in my experience.

I hate how minorities are allowed more leeway. For instance, I'm at work today, and we received a yellow pages ripoff entitled "The Asian Pages". It works exactly like the yellow pages, except all of the business owners are Asian. If I had developed a book "The Caucasian Pages", I would have all sorts of racist comments thrown my way. I dunno if that falls under the same category as PC, but either way, it sucks.
