What pistol do you conceal carry (legally)?

For those of you who have a CCW permit and/or local laws permit it, what is your EDC pistol choice and why did you choose it? Just curious to see what people carry and why they picked that.

Also, how do you carry it? In-waist, ankle, shoulder, etc

No ccw in illinois. Reminds me though, I need to buy some TAP ammunition for my P226 to put in the nightstand next to my bed. The AR-15 is a bit much when I bring a girl over.

How do you like the Keltec? Looks like a good CCW pistol.

I personally like it just because of how concealable it is year round. It's not exactly fun to shoot at the range but I choose my CCW based on concealability, reliability, and calibur, not how fun it is to shoot. I've tried a G27 (too wide) and a Tomcat 3032 (too small calibur and not as accurate) and ended up with the Keltec.

Series 70 Colt .45 ACP

Because it is so much fun to jam 2 lbs of steel next to my dick.

Colt Series 80 government model

I've always been a fan of 1911s, and even though it is a full sized pistol, it is very comfortable to carry IWB.

Of late, I'm really taking the H&K USP Compact .40 more than anything else.

I have several options.

Some days I just carry a S&W J-frame .38 with crimson trace grips, just in my front pocket.

When I want to use a OWB belt holster, I carry my Sig P229

And when IWB carrying (which is most of the time), carry one of a few different 1911a1's, most of the time using a Kimber Covert II in .45, or a Eclipse in 10mm.

I have others that I CAN carry, but those 4 are the main carry pistols.

Taurus Millennium Pro PT140, usually small of back or strong side owb holster. I wanted .40 to match my duty carry because I like having only one type of ammunition to worry about. The Millennium felt by far the best in my hands, and as it turns out is an incredible quality weapon as well. Durable, accurate as hell, smooth operation. A bit of a pain to break down, but I can live with that. Didn't hurt that it's only $300-350 either.

I carry my glock 26 (9mm) subcompact. It is very small and great for carrying. I carry inside the waste and with a regular dress shirt it doesn't even show.

I personally love the 9mm because it's very capable and I can carry a lot more rounds than other caliber. 10+1 of JHP in a very compact gun is very cool.

I also carry my glock 19 sometimes because I like the 15+1 capacity and it's not that much larger than my 26.

Always carry it with you. You never know when things could happen.
no point in having the right to carry and not do it because you don't feel like it that day.

I had my bag in the trunk and was going to the range. A lot of good it would have been doing there. Wake up call. I would have never thought 4 crack heads would have robbed the BK at 12:30pm in smalltown, USA. Times are a changing and hope isn't going to make them better. CCW's will, imo.
