What performance increase do you get with PC2700 over PC2100 on a board with a 333MHz front side bus?

Thanks!

PC 2700 will go to a higher Front Side Bus
The newer 333 boards have a 1/5 divider to keep the PCI running at 66mz
You will only see a performance jump if you up the FSB
PC 2700 is suppose to hit 333mz, but your milage may vary.
I run my Abit KR7A Raid board at 148 FSB on Samsung pc 2700 for a higher oc/than my old pc 2100 Crucial ram

if you run a 166mhz fsb then it gives a pretty nice performance increase :)

but if you run a 133mhz fsb with the memory running asynchronous at 166mhz the performance increase is very slight over a 133mhz fsb with 133mhz memory

I seem to always see this theme when comparing PC2700 to PC2100:
PC2700 @ 333 but with asyncronous FSB (133/266) is 2.5% gain
PC2700 @ 333 syncronous FSB (166/333) is 5% gain
is it that too little? Are these comparisons strictly related to Athlon CPUs (since they're designed for 133... even after you unlock them?)
--> is curious ;) (also thought I'd post that so you had some reference)

Considering how ATA speed vs spec scales with hard drives, I'd say it could very well be correct...

honestly I don't know why I bought PC2700 for my asyncronous setup...I can only hope that 333fsb helps significantly, if not...it still isn't worthwhile. 400 should be, however.
