What's your guess?

I'm going to go with less than 10%. They're already getting paid high salaries, many have 7 days on - 7 days off; no real reason to fuck up a good thing.

Schedule II drugs are rigorously counted and logged on a daily basis.....

The Doctors are the real scam. By brother is a Pharmacist at a CVS, and says that people come in and buy $1000 of Vicodin in cash, with legit prescriptions.

Where there's a will there's a way.

It is still easy to commit fraud. Our county sheriff was arrested in his police car with lortabs he got from the local pharmacy. He obtained 1900 lortabs with only a prescription for 800.

Of course this was not a chain pharmacy so they probably got away with it easier.

I'd guess less than 1% .... but maybe I'm oblivious ....

I'd be much more suspicious of pharmacy techs than pharmacists as techs usually don't make enough money to survive.

Also, Most pharmacies have cameras recording to a CCTV loop covering the C2s and ofter additional areas of the pharmacy, so if/when inventory is off, it's very easy to track down the thief.
