Poor moderation and immature atmostphere
Everytime I visit Anandtech, it is full of the most immature, childish posts I have ever read. Nothing is informative. It's either a post about someone's girlfriend or trying to sell some ridiculously old hardware. DO NOT GO TO ANANDTECH.

Reviews are usually filled with errors, come out later than competitors. The most popular part of the site is the forums, which tend to be filled with arrogant people and overzealous moderators.
Anyone use Anandtech forums?
I used to use their forums, especially the Off-Topic and Politics-News. A lot of people use for computer-related information. I left because the people on there are such jerks. I couldn't stand it anymore. VB is much nicer.

Time to kick some nooblet butt..

I disagree with the poor moderation, I'm impressed with the mods here, it's the reason I stay. There is something to be said for the immaturity of some posters.

Certain people come to mind that fit those categories.

But what would ATOT be without the trolls :awe:
 
I like it here, and I couldn't give a shit less what other people think of it. Most people are dumb as bricks ;^)

Agree. I used to frequent some others (Genmay anybody?), and it was impossible to have any sort of discussion in their "off topic" forum. The sub-forums weren't as bad, but, that place was bursting with idiots.

I find the general population here to be quite tolerable. Except of course for the OP. What a dick.

And any time I look at his avatar, I hear Costanza saying "Yeah..in six games."

Yeah, well the jerk store called and stated they are doing quite a nice business over at the Anandtech forums. :hmm:
 
Yeah, my post count is low, thats because I forgot previous username/password that was linked to an email account which I forgot username/password for......

Anyhow, I generally enjoy the time spent here. Either perusing the forums, reading articles or whatever.......I don't think most of us come here for, um, hugs and kisses, rather just to bs and pass time.....I guess some folks aren't loved, liked, whatever in the real world, so they expect to find that in forums?

Hrmph...that mango might be better in a drink...try throwing an anchor in your blender...but it's not worth a crap for keeping your boat in one place...I like papayas more than Toyotas anyway.😛
