So I have posted before the typical CD pen stop light and all that but this site just combines some of the best of the worst audio products all into one.

The diagrams just make it all the more hilarious:

Cable risers

Make sure your CD player doesn't shake for best sound quality

mmhmm the military was gonna use this...right

I am confused as to the market this product is aimed at

All of these make me laugh...most notably the CD's

Personally, I am in for cryogenically treating all of my Britney Spears CD's!

You actually admit to owning these? You are a sad, strange, little man.

Yoyo has seen all of this before, probably just not this website in particular. It's great for a laugh every once in a while...its just painful when you see people actually buying them!

"Most systems need 8 Elevators."

Seriously? Most systems have at least 6 speakers and a power cord or two. One elevator per cable is going to be enough?

Really depends on the length of your runs, and whether you have any other cables you need to elevate, like component video cables, HDMI, etc.

cable risers and component isolators are used by those hardcore audiophiles that actually believe they make a difference

I went into a bestbuy a couple years ago, to get a cheap Toslink optical cable to hook my DVD to my Receiver. A rep saw me picking up a $5 no-name and came over to make the big sale - he was trying to convince me that I should spend $100+ on a special cable because it would sound sooo much better.

Toshlink is a digital signal, and I really doubt a significant number of bits are lost along the half meter cable - but the rep swore there would be tons of corruption of the signal, and it would be weakend to the point of unusability.

still going strong after 6 years

Find those markers that you write the name of your components on in red to make them sound better!

You mean the AUDIOPRISM CD STOP LIGHT PEN????

I would NEVER leave home without it

http://www.aurant.com/signaturefeature.php

That's also pretty classic

No, not that one, it was one where you wrote on your components... like if I wrote "Boston Acoustics AVP-7" or something on the bottom of my preamp and it made it sound better.

Actually the little store in town I get the odd-not so known artist CD from has that CD slitter opening thingy.
2 slices (or 2 passes) along the edge of the CD case where that PITA sticker is and it opens right up and the sticker comes off in 3 pieces.

How long do you spend peeling that stupid sticker off the case? it always splits on me

Vibration damping for the electronics might actually be beneficial. All the other stuff is pure junk, though.
