If you're working out, Creatine makes you gain lean muscle, which will hypothetically make you burn fat faster....

The hypothetically part is only there to cover contingencies....such as your body not reacting to the proteins and not working out enough to spark your metabolism enough.

So if you take Creatine, lift weights, and run 3-4 days a week, you'll see results. If you can run 5+ days a week, you'll really see results.

hmmm, i thought creatine made you bigger. I am running 4-5 days a week and liftin 4-5. I need/want to lose 40-50 lbs. Its been like 3 months (not that dedicated) and im down 10lbs.

Creatine does not make you fat, although some people report increased bloating/water retention. It is non-caloric and does not make you gain any mass in and of itself.

Whether you gain or lose weight is ultimately determined by calories in vs. calories out, and to some extent, the quality of the food you eat. Obviously, most people would like to gain muscle and lose fat.

Gaining muscle and losing fat is incredibly difficult for the genetically average non-drug user to accomplish, except for those people who have never trained before and are just starting.

ok, well how about this then.....if i want to lose weight asap, without lifting (yet) what would i need for help?

right now i just run 4-5 days a week and eat alot better/less, but what can give me a safe extra boost?

I will start lifting again when school starts and my gym membership is free again :)

Some people do an Ephedrine/Caffeine/Aspirin stack, but I wouldn't recommend ephedrine. While it works, it is pretty intense, and is considered doping and is banned in the American sports system. I just take caffeine pills while cutting down on fat. The most important thing is cardio, and LOTS of it. If I was you and was really inclined on losing fat, I would run for 45 minutes or even an hour 5 times a week. You'll see the fat (and muscle, if you're not lifting), just coming off.

Take some fiber caplets. You are what you eat and if your system is full of s#$t it doesn't matter how "huge" you are.

from what it sounds like ... you don't need to take anything more than protein and a good multivitamin.
