anandtech and beyond3d have been my gotos but both are too slow for me, i like a forum that is really active but not filled with kids like gamespot, ign, neogaf etc...
 
You'd fit right in at gamefaqs.

I don't post on any other game specific forums. I only started posting in these because I assumed that this being a tech forum, the level of idiocy would be much lower. Boy, was I wrong.

it's hard to post on other game forums because it's full of little fanboy kids.

here's full of only 50% little fanboy kids, but we have quite a few fanboy adults too lol. but overall this place is a lot more "mature" than other gaming forums, but this forum is dead most of the time.

sometimes i read neogaf but it's only when people link to it.
 
beyond3d was another one of my goto's, there were even some Gears of War and Dead Space devs that posted there and a few others, quite a few who worked in the industry and they gave a lot of insight into 360/PS3 capabilities

that place is on it's last legs though, forums are nigh dead
