What other cars are in the same class as BMW 3 series?

trying to decide between G35 Sedan or 335i Sedan, wondering what else fits into that class..

i'd add lincoln mkz, although it's a bit bigger than the 3 series. then again, so are the TL and CTS. i'd say the TSX is a bit closer in size and competes with the low end 3 series.

i guess if you're spending $50,000 on a car there are a lot of options. that range of 'competitors' is from $29,000 on up. i might even say the new rwd v8 powered 4 door pontiac is a competitor. or the GS430.

Those are the only 2 good choices.

But the list should include the MB C-Class, and the Lexus IS.

yes, but my dads got the vette...i want a four sedan four driving everyday, nice options and 290+ horse
EDIT: also paddle shifters or the slapstick option would be nice as well

i like the look of the mxz...its the same as the zypher's just different name right?

i don't think they changed the looks, but they sure did upgrade the engine. it's now got the 3.5 cyclone in it. i think it makes 263 on regular gas.
