What OS to boot with? I only have one!

On one hard drive I installed WinXP Pro, on a second I installed MCE2k5. The second hard drive I removed from the computer and am using it else where. Why does it ask me what OS to boot with when there is only one harddrive with WinXP?

Is there anyway I can make it so it doesnt ask anymore?

Thanks for the help.

Once Windows has seen another OS available it is written to the boot.ini so that you are asked, upon boot, which one to use.

To safely edit options on the boot.ini file right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced Tab > Startup and Recovery Settings button.

You can manually edit the boot.ini file as well but be very careful in doing so.

Hope this helps =)
