What order would you do things?

Wife jsut called me. now, what would you do?

1) Call Karl
2) talk and hang up
3) pickup baby

-or-

B____
1) pickup baby and put it's head next to handset.
2) Call Karl
3) talk while baby is crying

Well, guess. Let's just say, my wife once again proved how illogical she is. This tops the tear down all the christmas lights/decorations and throw them on the garage floor instead of putting them away incident. She didn't want them in the yard any longer (Jan 2 maybe?) so hse decided to make a mess in the garage

Does this stuff happen to anyone else?

2) Pick up baby before Karl answers because it has started crying and put its head next to handset
3) Talk while baby is crying because it would be rude to hang up after a few rings
