I saw that and a reference on IMDB, but it does not give me a clue as to the contex of the name or quote.

I watched a made-for-TV kid movie recently (Nickelodeon?) and they kept saying something like that. REALLY annoying. The movie was about a young teenager that lived on a space station. Zenon? Xenon? It wasn't a bad movie.

I imagine it may very well be a made-up name that caught on with a crowd (young, preteen girls - which would explain the myspace usage)
Lapedis is not an uncommon last name.

Maybe not in my family, but it seems fairly rare outside of people I know as direct relatives of mine.
Does anyone know any other LaPedis family members (not Lapedus, Lepidus, Lipedus, etc.)?
