What Options Are There Now For A SETI@Home Service Install For WinXP Pro?

There is one that has been around for quite a while but not many people use because it just uses the cli with no SETIDriver or SETISpy or any other add on program. Then there is also the Flexinstaller. Someone should come up with one that uses SETIDriver. Maybe it has been done but I haven't heard of it yet.

You could also use the Scheduled Tasks built into WinNT/2k/XP, to start the client on system startup 🙂

Confused

I would recommend using the good old instsrv and srvany.exe's
Just place them in ur WINDOWS directory. I think there's some tutorials on how to use it in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

You have to use regedit too, but it's not too difficult.
