I have no idea what this thread is about but I generally don't get what I want for Christmas. I told my wife I'd like a nice watch this year but I know I'm not getting one.

Apparently, what I really want is a curio cabinet for the livingroom. 🙄

I learned a long time ago...let her get you what she wants...buy your own "gift."

That way, she's happy, you're happy. (and it fits right, it's the right color, the right style, and it's what you REALLY, really want.)

Fixing the ethernet connection in my room. I currently run a long ethernet cable from the bedroom across the hall connected to that wall outlet and ran under the door to my computer. The computer in my room is mostly my gaming desktop. I'm mostly upstairs on the laptop with WIFI on the couch. So I have to get a wheelbarrow, pick up my ass and haul it outside and redo the damn thing. Ain't gonna happen this year now though. Too freaking cold.

I ran ethernet cable throughout the house, but I never went through the walls as that would have been a big pain in the ass.
