What (older or low budget) movie would you like to see remade on a big budget?

I'd actually like to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang remade, and done with NO cgi.

na, I have yet to see a remake that is better than the original. And Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was not low budget.

Shit, if they made is even as they did then today that movie would cost a billion bucks at least. The Ten Commandments from the 50s would never be made if were to be made today with no CGI. Literally thousands of people. Most didnt get paid but today every single one of them would want moola.

I would like to see Logans Run to be remade. Its been in the works for years but nothing solid.

No Heston, no Soylent Green!

yes yes but I think it is a good story, but the film is sort of inaccessible to today's audience so a remake would be a good thing.

Wasn't that the one with Captain Janeway in it?

Anyways, I'm gonna cheat and pick a TV Show. Babylon 5.
