What % of your body weight are you actually lifting when doing a pushup.

I got into push-up position with my hands on a scale, and it said that I weighed about 2/3rd my body weight. So, I would assume that you are lifting 60-66.666666667% of your weight.

It also depends on the position of your hands and feet. I used to do pushups with my feet on a bench to increse the weight, and hands further apart is more difficult.
