What OC's better - P4 2.4c or P4 2.6c?

I'm looking at getting one of these two processors (P4 2.4c or 2.6c) and am wondering if one or the other will be a better overclocker. I've heard good things about the 2.4, but not much about the 2.6. Any advice?

They both OC about the same. The 2.6 might make it a tad bit higher. My 2.4c ran at 3.1ghz.

WHat ram? It all depends on the headroom of your ram, as running async with the P4 is not a good idea.

I've had my 2.4c for awhile (over a year) and it's been running at 3 Ghz at stock voltage since I got it. No complaints here, but at this point I doubt there would be much difference between the two.

Thanks for the replies. I'm running 4 x 256 (1gb) Corsair Value Ram.

And my mobo is an Abit IS7-E, in case it matters.

see my sig. got mine running at 3.4Ghz using PC4000 ram in dual-channel. bumped voltage to 1.5875 and memory to 2.85 and runs fine. stock heatsink, but plenty of airflow in my case.
