ok guys, i know nothing about this band, i have a friend who has a birthday coming up and she already has one of their albums, dont know the name but it is a live album and she hates live albums. since my knowledge of music ends around 1980ish, i was wondering if you guys could tell me which one to get her.

I have 'Be Here Now' which has 2-3 of their sadder more mellow songs on it. I like the album, but I have no clue how it is to the others in comparison since it is the only one that I have.

(What's the story) Morning Glory?
Coincidentally I was listening to it yesterday.

However Oasis' best song IMO is Live Forever, which is in the Definitely Maybe album.
Morning Glory just has a lot of good songs (wonderwall, don't look back at anger, champagne supernova)

No. It was really their breakthrough album in the US, and includes several great songs that were radio hits, including Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova, What's the Story, Morning Glory?, and Don't Look Back in Anger.

I don't think there is an all-live Oasis album, but The Masterplan has some live tracks.
