Anyway, much as it sucks, it is not gouging. Gas is a commodity and the price has been rapidly rising. Every retailer has been forced to raise their prices.
While I agree that this sucks, I find it odd that you think of this as "gouging". When the price of milk goes up at every store, do you call that gouging too? Or how about the fact that mortgage interest rates have gone up recently? The fact that they went from 5's to 6's in the past month, is that also gouging, and not market conditions?
