What notebooks under $1300, have LCD's that rival apple's Ibook/G4 PB in quality?

The LCD's on the new Ibooks/Powerbook G4's are stunning, they must have a response time of like 20MS. Most PC notebooks (toshiba/hp/fujitsu) I see at my local retailers don't come close.

How are dell's/abscomputers notebook LCD's?🙂

I have one of the new Powerbooks, and I will agree. I had a Dell 600m before the PB, and the display on the Dell did not come close to the Apple. Dell has been known to use non-optimal LCDs in their computers... I can remember a Hot Deal awhile ago on the 8600 or something like that where some of the people that received the laptop concluded that thier computers were shipped with the incorrect LCDs.
Anyway, I know there is some program that benchmarks your display, if you can find it I will run it on my Powerbook and my girlfriends and post the results.

(PS, I still use a PC for my gaming and almost everything else, but the PB is great for wireless surfing and notetaking at school)

I found out that the ibooks use a samsung LCD. Prolly explains why samsung has some of the best desktop LCD's on the market.🙂
