Painful Link

This reminds me of a pilot's definition of a plane crash. "When you run out of experiance, airspeed and altitude all at the same time." What I don't understand is how he lost it there, anyone here been to Road Atlanta?

My guess is that he hit the rise, and the back end got light and the driver over corrected.

Betcha insurance wouldn't cover it either, considering it happened on a racetrack.

Sucks to be him.

Then again if you can afford to toss around a $200K car you probably don't mind TOO much if you hose it.

I bet even if you can afford a $200k car you would still be pretty pissed if you crashed it. Definitely sucks to be that guy. Most of us couldn't even afford the scrap that's left of that car.

The worst part about it was the fact that the idiot didn't have track insurance on the car. How can you afford that car, and not bother with track insurance?

Anyway, those pics aren't the good ones... if I could find the link...

Is it normal for a car to take that kind of hit without the glass shattering?
