Not limited to imports my friend, any car of that size would be trashed. Rule of thumb, total weight of all material loaded into a vehicle should not exceed the weight of the empty vehicle. :) If the lumber &c is in excess of 3000lbs, don't load it into a car that weighs maybe 2500lbs dry. Bad idea. Very funny though.

I'm quite sure that much weight would have crushed the passenger compartment. Plywood is heavy as hell, & there've got to be pushing 20 sheets on there. Plus all the other lumber.

Either that's fake, or it's a miracle they aren't dead.

fucingrooven.

Don't underestimate the Jetta. Those cars rock and they have a good roll cage.

Look at the trim on the front and rear doors. See how it doesn't match? Idjit probably bent the frame too.

Actually most modern cars can support approximately twice their own weight on their roof, the reason the roof gets crushed in a rollover is that the acceleration of the car caused by rolling creates a force on the roof greater than twice the car's weight.

<< The back shocks were driven up through the floorboard >>

Impossible. The shock towers are in the trunk the tops of which are about 2 inches below rear deck. I have seen people do stupid sh!t like this before though.
