What not to do on a motorcycle or tale of a poor dumb bastage.

So I get out of work at 9:00 and decided to take a little ride since this is the nicest night of the year in the Boston burbs. Eventually, wind up behind a half dozen guys riding assorted sport bikes. So this is ok, but they started getting a little more roudy than they should have on a semi-lit main road on a Friday night through Hingham, MA. The lead rider in the left lane decided to pop a decent wheelie... right in front of a police car on the opposite side of the road. I watched the car start to turn around even as our young hero sailed by him on one wheel. Needless to say, about a minute later, he gets pulled over.

Moral: If you are gonna play, don't do it where you are bound to get in trouble.

:D

lol, i thought you were gonna say that he hit the cop car or something really stupid :p

I'll always remember that one racer that decided to stand on his bike as he crossed the finish line. Then he wrecked and died.

Irony - Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs

I know this guy is a dumbass, but what, exactly, would he be charged with?
Unsafe operation of a motor vehicle or something like that?

Well he wasn't that stupid, but this is the money making strip. Speed traps on the weekend every mile or less. These guys had to know that, so we aren't looking at the brightest lights.

Precisely.

Hopefully, he will be let off with just half his ear chewed off. In reality, he did little wrong, but he could get hit big. The local PD's are not very forgiving there.

One of my best friends lives in Hingham. She HATES some of the kids. The area breeds rich kids who are pretty much wastes of space. It sounds like mommy and daddy paid for those boy's toys.

That's weird, my father in law lives south of you :D

Yeah, it is an "exclusive" area with many having more cash than brains. Ah well, I didn't have that problem :D

Wait, your father in law lives south of me (around Albany NY) or lives south of my friend (in Hingham MA)?

I've been out there a couple times. It's a ritzy area. My friend has issues with it because her family is normal, and is surrounded by way too many people who think their value as a person is the same as their bank statement. Bastages, there's been a few instances where I've almost considered making the 3 hour trip to pay a visit on some of them with the tire iron from my car for making her cry. Something dies inside when I sit on the phone or get an email about her having a hard time. She deserves the world.
