it depends, usually it boring, I must admit, but when its funny, its FAKKING FUNNY!
madtv, on the other hand, is alright, not too boring all the time, but not extremely funny all the time too...

and dc, no sleep in ucr? I thought you all have life there in riverside...

SNL's peak was in the early to mid 90's

Its all been downhill since... Thats not to say they don't have their moments though. I still think Tim Meadows is funny as hell.
