what next?

for the past 2 years i've had a 9600GT and 17" monitor. i recently got a 24" monitor and my frames dropped quite a bit. still very playable(mainly tf2 is all i play). i don't have max res for this monitor on in tf2, what one under that(1600 something maybe?)

any ways, i don't keep up with parts like i used to. what should i try to replace this 9600gt with without dropping $200 on a video card? i'll probably try to pick it up off the fs/ft forum here.

get a hd4850/9800gtx off the forums, which ever is cheaper. about 80$ to 100$
