Hi I have my new 128mb geforce4 ti4200 overclocked to 305-310 core and 570 memory, performing well but I have only Athlon C 1333 with 256mb sdram Pc133 cl2 and I have question about upgrade, I need advice, if there will be performance boost even bigger on this type of video card for me, or it will gain pretty well enough from Athlonxp about 2200+ levels, I am wondering also for future, thanks for helpfull advice

dont go wasting your money yet stick with the 1333 Athlon for now and then when the time comes upgrade to something better ive got an X-micro Geforce4 Ti4200 64MB clocked at default but works fine @T 310 core and 640 Ram check out my rig to see rest of stuff.
At the moment its not worth going from 1333 to Athlon (1.8Ghz) 2200+ if anything wait for the Hammer.
What u have now should last u till it comes out at that time u shall be able to laugh at all those suckers who went in for the slow ¡K Yes slow Athlon Xp¡¦s and if your in the situation of
u have the money now and will have the money then to upgrade u should still wait and use what money to buy something like a new TV ?º

Ok thanx, I am stopping to sell my present computer,, I will wait to Clawhammer and beat all benches on Geforce4 family 😉 I clearly see power of cpu could destroy future games engines.

Its up 2 u anyway if u are able to sell your comp for a good price go 4 it and upgrade but hey its your comp do what u want 🙂
i had an 800 Athlon so i had good reason to upgrade but what u have now is a bit better then my 800 so yeah no problem have a nice day dude ~

Again I have seen many comparison`s showing that about 1800mhz are overclocked Geforce4 ti4200 going to maximum in 3dmark2001 but I am not sure how situation will be when 3dmark2002 or 2003 will be out and in real game performance.. On 2ghz AthlonXp the score of many people was the same like on 1710 with overclocked ti`s4200. I feel somewhere there is top of my card, I have now about 8100 3dmarks, and with upgrade nearly 13000 isn`t bad performance boost, or is it??

I can get 13000 in that meaning, I haven`t now,, also my motherboard isn`t working with two same memories from my manufacturer, and 256mb in 1600x1200 full detail games, do sometimes swaps and big loading times, and hammer will be expensive maybe after half a year from now it will be price friendly, not at launch.
