If Microsoft wants to start gaining some serious marketshare, they need to release high end devices across all major carriers.
I think that's something the Nokia deal will help with. Samsung and HTC have their own agendas to deal with, but Nokia is all in with WP7, so hopefully we'll see a lot more devices now.
Yeah. When I gave WP7 a try it was with the HTC Trophy because that was the only WP7 device on Verizon.
My only concern for WP7 is that Microsoft's attempt at being a mix of Android and iOS (variety of handsets, but very strict guidelines to keep performance uniform and optimized) will keep the platform's innovation slow going, too slow to catch up to Android and iOS.
