I found out about the Sons of Anarchy premier at like 11 am today while already at work, which prompted me to go onto tivo.com to make sure it records.

while there, I stumbled upon their Fall TV page, which I then went through to setup recordings for any potentially interesting new tv shows.

so, ATOT, what new shows (if any) are you thinking about watching this fall?

I setup recordings for Nikita (I know, lolCW, but I loved the original movie and its spinoff tv series, so I figured it couldn't hurt to give it an episode or two), Boardwalk Empire, and No Ordinary Family (I'll give just about any sci-fi tv show the 1-episode benefit of the doubt).

there aren't a whole lot of interesting new shows, though. I heard "Shit My Dad Says" was like epically bad.

Honestly there is not a single new show that interests me thsi fall. Drama or comedy.
I'm hoping "Outsourced" dies within a few weeks so P&R can come back soon.

Sons of Anarchy (hopefully it's a good season)

The Event has my curiosity...we'll see.

The Chase...we'll see. TV is notorious for casting the wrong people...who don't look like they fit the part

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed in the new offerings this season.

Boardwalk Empire has got me hook, line, and sinker. I don't know if it can live up to the hype.

NBC, Mon Sep 20 10:00 PM

Glee
Fox, Tues Sep 21 8:00 PM

NCIS
CBS, Tues Sep 21 8:00 PM

NCIS: LA
CBS, Tues Sep 21 9:00 PM

The Good Wife
CBS, Tues Sep 28 10:00 PM

My Generation
ABC, Thurs Sep 23 8:00 PM

Big Bang Theory

Family Guy

American Dad
Fox, Sun Oct 3 9:30 PM

ABC, Sun Sep 26 10:00 PM

Desperate Housewives

I'm sure that I won't end up watching even 1/2 of that, but they're all shows that either I've seen a couple of episodes of and liked, or (in the case of The Event and Chase) have seen previews of and am interested.

I doubt Outsourced is really going to last on NBC. A show needs a very dedicated, even small, fan base to keep a show on that network. It really doesn't seem like the type of show that can get people passionate about it. Of course, it could be a great show and get decent ratings because it's in a good block of tv.

Still, my money is on it being completely gone by January. It better not squeeze out Parks and Rec though if it has modest success. I won't even bother giving Outsourced a try until Parks and Rec has returned.

It's always sunny in Philadelphia.

I'm a Philan-rapist.
My sister and I went to the comic con panel. I had to sit through Glee to see it though, but we got to be in the second row after all the teenaged girls left. My sister having never even heard of the show, after panel said, "can I borrow your Always Sunny DVDs." I didn't even consider that she would like that type of show but the panel was that good and the new episode that funny (and it was just an average Sunny episode).

Probably record most of the new shows on the major networks to see what they like as I never watch commercials anymore and really have no clue what they are promoting.

I'll probably check out the remake of Hawaii 5-O, but I'm very skeptical...

I always watch Gray's Anatomy, occasionally watch Brothers and Sisters, (one of my wife's favorites...just another soap opera IMO) and usually watch Parenthood.
