I want to see what Creative Labs and Matrox have in store for the graphics market. Also R300. Also Clawhammer.

this year? the new video cards from matrox and ati
next year... hammer

as i've said before, i don't think you'll be able to purchase a hammer in 2002. they'll probably "announce" shipping or something like that in october, but you won't actually be able to get one for a few months. just like they did with the t-bred.

NV30 followed by Clawhammer and maybe a new nForce motherboard to support Clawhammer.

Memory based hard drives with 80gb a sec transfer rates and 100's of gb's of storage space!!!......, ok so that wont be this year, but that?s what I'm looking forward to. Forget about hammer, Radeon, 3D Labs, Matrox and all that gibrish, lets see something different and useful for a change. My vote is for Hammer though, that processor is lookin schweet.

Clawhammer definitely...but at this rate I hope we see T-bred before the end of May. Also Matrox's latest offering.

Clawhammer. Video cards may get a little more interesting since many new companies are shooting for the low to mid range otherwise there is not much exiting coming up.

ATi, Matrox and perhaps 3DLabs/Creative to put some pressure on nVidia...
And Hammer of course :D.

matrox's next chipset, then the clawhammer, then the R300, then the NV30

but the nearest most interesting thing is probably SIS' Xabre line of cards...i wanna see how these puppies perform.

Bitboys has been promising the GPU that God himself uses in her own personal rig.. They have to date not delivered yet they still get enough funding to maintain a office in Europe AND one in Texas (I believe)?

They are showing people SOMETHING that makes them get funding from investors.

I BELIEVE!!!

hammerk, if it does indeed show this year, and if it doesn't it's still probabbaly worth the little wait

lookinfr forward to a Clawhammer running at 1.8 to 2.1 Ghz, and will adopt early, just like I did with K7

Just hope AMD gets there sh1t togther with a better product release shedule, Cheap mobo's woudl be nice on release

realisitically, I expect expensive chips ( for a speed grade you actually want ), and pretty expensive mobo's. The mobo will probabbly cost as much as the lowest speed K8

video cards, naaawww, 3d games died with 3dfx... hhehhe, well, it did for me anyway, you don't have to agree and thats fine

Video card: NV30, R300, Matrox Mystical Card. ;)

CPU: ClawHammer or ClawHammer DP (Opteron?).

HD: Anything serial ATA (except IBM ;)).

That about does it. :D
