So, I was just thinking that the next book in J.V. Jones' Sword of Shadows series (A Fortress of Gray Ice) is finally coming out on August 1st. :D

Of course, we still have to wait until April 2004 for George R.R. Martin to publish A Feast For Crows (the 4th book in the Song of Ice and Fire series). :(

Anyway, what new book releases are you keeping an eye out for?

Pattern Recognition by William Gibson, in paperback
Some new Spider Robinson
The next Miles Vorkosigan novel (Lois McMaster Bujold)

David Sedaris's next book and whatever book Palahniuk comes out with next. I wish Steinbeck was still alive and writing.

I still waiting for Hemingway to write the next book to Old Man and the Sea... :)

I don't read much anymore.

Use to read Sci-Fi, then Military, now it's mostly Travel usually Canadian or Books about history of an area I've visited.

How come no one has said the obvious choice .... I am waiting for Robert Jordan to finish off his ridiculously long, dragging series "Wheel of Time".

Tell me about it. I read Crossroads of Twilight a couple months ago and that DRAGGED way too much. Even some of the earlier books in the series like Crown of Swords weren't this bad. Now we gotta wait another 2 years for the next undoubtedly slow-ass installment. Jordan started out well, and I'll defend WoT to the death as a great series, but it's getting way too slow. I'll still stick with it to the bitter end though.....
