What network chipset is this?

I'm trying to locate the proper NDIS2 driver for a nic card based on the Dell XPS 600(intel sli nforce4 edition).

The only thing that comes up when I look at the nic is Nvidia nForce Networking Controller.

Now, I did some digging before and I thought I had found some drivers but I think maybe there are some parameters that need to be set that I don't have. No clue how to set them either.

Can anyone tell me if this is a realtek nic?(I know previous dell mobo's sometimes were either based on broadcom/realtek nic cards).

YES, i've been to the knowledge base, and NO, it does not have an answer for me. Everytime someone throws that in there I really do get irritated because I have already been through all that. Sorry for that rant.

TIA for any information on this network card chipset, or just plain where the drivers are and the proper settings.

This LINK is for help with Ghost and nForce-2 chipset. Perhaps, it may work with the version 4 chipset.

It would be helpful to know which version of Ghost that you're using too.

Worst case scenario, install another more common nic to get your imaging done, and then either take it out or disable it in the future. And yes, there are drivers for Realtek nics - a number of different ones actually. My experience is primarily with Ghost 8.0.

PXE is basically a network boot service you can use to allow the target machine to connect to the Ghost server.
I think it stands for Preboot eXcution Environment but I'm not 100% sure.

Just a reminder:
In order for PXE to work, you'll need to have a network boot server on the network. Ghost 8.2 comes w/ 3com's Boot Service server. You can install the PXE and TFTP servers for what you're trying to do.

Some steps on their instruction guide have typos so don't take every word literally if you follow the guide.
