In a new Corvette — yeah, sounds about right!

A young guy who just moved in a couple houses down from me has a light blue C3 (as far as I can tell?). I’m guessing it’s an heirloom or something because I’ve never seen him drive it. Looks really clean though and it’s a really striking car to see these days.

So a garage queen then. I'm guessing he actually wants to park it in his living room if he could drive it in there.

I own a '73 C3 that I bought from a friend back in '78. Drove it 'til the early 90's when I turned in the plates, hung it up on blocks and finally did a frame off restomod years later after the kids flew the coop. The only other thing I need to do to complete the restoration is getting it painted. I still can't decide what colorful shade of awesomeness I want it covered in (well, actually the wifey has the last say, you know how that goes.)

We got to take a test drive in the all new Ford F150 Lighting today. The dealer I use had a Pro on the lot to let people try so since they know me they just handed us the keys and said have fun. This thing is BEAST off the line. Not quit as fast as the R1T that I got to ride along in but pretty damn close. Besides the mind blowing 0-60 times for a truck other things like interior appointments and fit and finish were very much Ford.

Since we own a Maverick once you got inside everything felt familiar. Which isn't a bad thing but you can definitely tell it's a Ford truck on the inside. Anyway, enough chit chat onto the pics!

Having driven nearly every EV on the market, I consider the F-150 EV the best EV I've ever driven. It's just an amazing beast in every way! I'm not sure if I want to call it the best vehicle I've ever driven, but it may be! Totally different experience driving a big electric truck! The frunk is amazing. The interior is amazing. The power tailgate is amazing. The driving experience is amazing. Everything about it felt "right" & very well done. I was EXTREMELY impressed with it!

Only catch is I want a 500-mile range, so I'm holding out for the Cybertruck lol.

Yeah, it's been a mess. The Car B-Q pictured was on the 405 S, right at the 90. I think It was around 14:30.

We saw one of these at the Safeway, the guy was in it and it was idling and I did not want to dig out my phone and snap a picture. Same paint, everything. It looked and sounded pristine.

A Honda Civic with oversized front and even bigger rear wheels, coil over suspension, flared fenders, a big spoiler and a rusty STEEL rear skirt complete with giant vertical fins. The whole thing might fall off anytime. I hope the cops bust him for that.

Saturday for me too. Great show. My neighbor was a tech on SOFIA and had told me all about it. It was cool to actually see it.

yeah, I hate that we don't get that here. US only ever gets the shitty cars, and the remaining 80% of the road is filled with fucking mobile living rooms (crossovers, SUVs, and up).
