Hi, i have a network set up like this: -
Cable modem connected to Blueyonder -> PC1 ethernet NIC#1. Internet connection sharing is turned on.
PC1 ethernet NIC#2 -> PC2 ethernet NIC#1
PC1 IP=10.0.1.8
PC2 IP=10.0.1.9
PC1 TCP/IP properties:
IP address: 10.0.1.8
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
PC2 TCP/IP properties:
IP address: 10.0.1.9
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 10.0.1.8
Primary DNS server: 10.0.1.8
===
Now. My PC1 works fine, i can access every webpage, MSN messenger, Steam, MIRC and anything perfectly.
PC2 however, can access most websites, but not ones such as microsoft.com, ebay.co.uk, for example, do not work, and pinging them yields no reply, either. Anandtech does work, and i am posting this message on PC2..
I have tried running Steam, MSN Messenger, and MIRC and none of them connect.
My network was working FINE on friday, as it had for months before hand, and the only thing that perhaps has happened is that i emailed my ISP (blueyonder) the other day to say i was experiencing latency, and they emailed back saying they had "ammended" my connection -and, indeed, it is a lot less laggy now. But could that have screwed something up?
Thanks for reading! I am after help here!
