can you guys imagine a band or an orchestra that got formulated in a techie forum?

Played saxaphone for 6 years, and I play guitar for at least an hour and a half a day (for 4 years). I also played around with the flute, never got into it tho.

Same answer I posted the last time this was asked ;)

I play keyboard, guitar and lead electron. :) I've played piano since I was five and guitar since I was fifteen. I played professionally after I dropped out of law school (a good choice).

I've always tinkered with electronics, and as a poor musician (arent most of us?), I couldn't afford to pay someone else to repair my amps, so I picked up a couple of electronics books, and found that they made sense, and I could do my own amp repairs. Then, I started doing it for side money. After awhile, I found I could design good working circuits, so now, I design audio gear, mostly professional studio stuff, both solid state and tube.

It's a fun job, but somebody's gotta do it. :D

Guybrush, good to see a fellow Euphonium player here! I've played since the fourth grade, which makes it about fourteen years now that I've been playing, but I haven't played at all since college. I've played trombone for 11 years, mostly got into bass trombone later in my trombone career, only for jazz band, though. And now I've played guitar for about a year, and I enjoy it and practice more at it than I ever did with either of the other two instruments combined.

same here!!! I've been playing guitar for a little over a year, and i'm so much more into it than i ever was with euphonium/bone/tuba.

I really should pick up my euphonium again and see if i can still play Variations on "Carnival of Venice" :D

I can play saxophone, flute, recorder, pennywhistle and bagpipes (but not very well on the bagpipes).
I prefer singing. I'll be the frontman :)

Little bit o guitar (read: three chords... :D)... planning on practicing regularly one of these days.

I want to learn bass, too.
