Were there any fads along the way?

Did any music group influence you in the way you dress, or talk, or live life?
 
I started off with Third Eye Blind back around '97/'98 and then moved into the ska/punk scene (Reel Big Fish, Catch 22, Bosstones, etc...), and now I've moved into broader tastes such as classic rock and jazz (along with what I already was listening to).
