I know this lady who's having a birthday soon.. and i think an audio cd would be good present.. (well maybe except some baby stuffs..but everyone would expect that right?)
Something nice...something.. good for the baby ^^;

So, can you guys recommend a CD for this nice lady?

I've read that children that are exposed frequently to classical music growing up (even as babies) have better development in some areas of the brain, those associated with math, music, etc.

It's an urban myth plus clever marketing by greedy scammers according to this link as well as some follow-up stories I've read. I do enjoy listening to some classical music though and it certainly won't hurt a baby.

Most people who aren't big classical fans can still enjoy classical guitar, so I'd recommend Sharon Isbin's "Bach: Complete Lute Suites" it's beautiful music, masterful playing, and
it's my favorite classical guitar CD

To me it would make sense that listening to any sort of music with complexities in rythm, key, and arrangement would be beneficial to a future musician.

It's intuitive and possibly true, just not proven by anyone yet -- the "Mozart Effect" was fraud. [ ed ] as it was marketed to the public, not necessarily the original research which was misrepresented.

then what shall i give her 🙁
Why is music no-go just because it might not mutate her child into a super-baby?

Music is still a nice gift and I've given you two good suggestions.
