What " MP3 ripping" programs are you guys using with WinXP?

<< Is it "ripping" software or just burning software? >>

oh.. hehe... just burning.. i dont rip 🙂

but there is a "plug in" you can install to turn it into ripping software.. a friend of mine uses it that way.

I using EZ CD Creator 5. Had to download update in order to run with XP Pro.

Working pretty good, no complaints so far.

What kind of ripping are you referring to? Full ISO ripping, or MP3 ripping? I use either CDRWin or CloneCD to rip ISO images, and I use AudioCatalyst to rip MP3s (you can get it to work in WinXP, just takes some effort)

<< Anyone use CDex? >>

I do. I've ripped about 10 CDs flawlessly using CDex. I was going to buy that plugin for windows media player, but I like CDex, so no sense spending more money for something I already have.

If anyone knows how to change the order of files written to a disk in NERO, please see my thread in software and games.

<< eac encoding lame gives you the nearly the best sounding mp3's. >>
