I need the title of this movie. I think it starred Robert Duvall, but I can't find it anywhere on IMDB. It's the story of a broke father that had a two kids and kept moving from hotel to hotel (after getting kicked out of each one, he would call the place a "shitole"...which was sh!t hole except all ran together). He would always tell his kids about how he owned a steak house with the thickest steaks you've ever seen. He would then tell them how he got into an an argument with a guy, then ended up stabbing him in the leg with a steak knife.
He kept repeating the story over and over, trying to convince his kids at one time he was a winner. Then, he had to break down and ask his rich brother for money for his kids. His brother started to humiliate him while asking, and his kids had that knife story so burned into their heads that they stabbed the brother in the leg with a steak knife.
