My girlfriend and I are planning to go to the movies together tonight so now I am relying on ATOT to help me decide which movie to see. Anyway, here are the movies playing at the movie theatre near us:

Departed, The (R)
Employee of the Month (PG-13)
Flicka (PG)
Grudge 2, The (PG-13)
Guardian, The (PG-13)
Illusionist, The (PG-13)
Jackass: Number Two (R)
Marine, The (PG-13)
Open Season (PG)
Prestige, The (PG-13)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (R)

Don't know why your bothering to ask ATOT, just let the girl pick and save yourself the headache.

Well, I'd just like some opinions on some of these movies from people who have seen them. Then we can decide based on the opinions we get from ATOT.

Departed, The (R)
--great movie, amazing actors. can't go wrong here

Employee of the Month (PG-13)
--haven't seen it, all I know is it has Dax from Punk'd

Grudge 2, The (PG-13)
--want to see it. some people hate the grudge, i like it. this one actually looks scary unlike the first one

Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (R)
--DON'T see this one. It's not as good as the others. Poor editing.

well I didn't like the first one, so I am going to assume I wouldn't like the 2nd. Looks quite lame. Name the last good sequel to a horror movie

btw, how old are you? would you girlfriend enjoy a REAL movie? I would go with the departed

I think I've narrowed it down to The Departed and The Prestige. They both look good. I'm going to have to discuss it with her though.

I was actually just talking to my friend who just came back from watching The Prestige. He said it was really good.

Both movies are excellent so whichever one you choose is good
