So I have my third date with a girl on saturday, and I decided I would cook her a fancy dinner and break out a nice bottle of wine or two. After dinner the plan is to pop in a movie, which we hopefully wont actually watch beyond about a half hour of. I'm looking for something thats not necessarily a huge chick flick (i.e. the notebook), but something that will be of a similar mood (i.e. no raging comedies or action movies)

Any suggestions?

Well it doesn't really matter much then so just pick something at random.

thats the plan, but the movie is to be the transition between dinner and sex, therefore it needs to carry the mood over.

How does Ho1KC stack up against DR? I saw the latter, and enjoyed it, but I hear House was a cheaper, less entertaining, first-draft version of it.

Age? I'm assuming late highschool/early college, so a typical Dumb College Comedy (Van Wilder, Old School, Super Troopers) would be the best bet.

Some movie where the plot begins as the guy makes dinner for his girlfriend, gets her drunk off of wine and then proceedes to violate her, or the Horse Whisperer. :)

Spanglish

EDIT: holy ish 2 more till lifer

i'll help you make it... please explain what spanglish is about

It is an Adam Sandler movie. It's the one where he and his wife are pretty well off but his wife is a nutcase, and they hire this made and her daughter to help around the house, but the maid can't speak english really at al and her daughter helps her translate.

So the spanish chick and adam sandler start to fall for eachother and she starts to learn english.

i don't wanna spoil it but it's a good movie that has some humor and chicks will definitely dig the love story in it. the movie was much better than I expected.

EDIT: UN MAS!

different
the first movie was a horror/zombie type movie
the second movie was an action flick, more like natural born killers. no zombies

i liked both, but they are very different style movies
