what mouse pad to use with my optical wireless mouse?

I am using it on my desk right now, no mouse pad and it is horrible. I know having a mouse pad with writing/graphics on it doesnt work too well either. what should i use? it is the one that comes with the microsoft wireless desktop optical pro combo.

I used my desk surface and it was horrid.
Then I went to some mousepad with some ocean art type stuff on it, havent had a problem since. I dont think art on the mousepad would be a problem except in limited instances.

if you want a really good mousepad look at the fUnc 1030 pad, they have it at newegg under Accessories - Mouse or www.func.net

I like the 3M mouse pads. They're really thin and don't move around the desk and the mouse glides over it really easy. This One

Another vote for the Everglide Giganta Optical pad,it will also help increase your battery life on your cordless mouse due to the fact the sensor won`t have to use so much power for scanning the surface,it`s also a very good gaming pad as well.
