What mounting hdw do I use for a new case fan?

My case fan is dying and needs to be replaced.

I have bought a new fan and now need the mounting hardware necessary to hold the fan in place.

Aren't there some neat plastic gizmos for this? I have looked high and low and can't find them, or anything else for that matter.

Please educate me.

jab-tech.com under fan accessories. I like their 2-piece ones as you can use them where you can't easily get to the back of the fan inside the case. And they aren't hard to take out either, so you can reuse them. Not expensive if you buy several packets at a time.

It's overkill on most fans but, I like high RPM fans so I usually double isolate them with 8-32 1.25" bolts with thick rubber gaskets between the case an the fan and between the nut/washer and the fan. Honesly with anything below 1K it really doesn't matter how you mount them, most >$50 cases won't be affected.
