What motherboard is in this bundle?

I need to replace the motherboard and CPU in my PC and found what looks like a tempting deal on a Sempron 3100+ processor and a bundled SiS 755 chipset motherboard but the system specs don't give the manufacturer or model number of the motherboard. Is there any way to find out for sure what this motherboard is before I place an order?

Link to the bundle on Outpost.com is http://shop4.outpost.com/product/4222004?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG.

Thanks. :)

Look around pricewatch for an athlon 64 2800 combo. It should be just a few dollars more. 64 bit windows xp is due out in about 6 weeks. Semprons will never support 64 bit xp.

That's not quite the answer I was looking for, but it was actually pretty helpful. I had not thought to look on Pricewatch to find a different bundle with that motherboard included. I found a few bundles with the same motherboard pictured on Outpost and it looks like it is an ECS 755-A2. :p

The fact that Windows XP 64 will be out soon really doesn't matter to me. It would be a long time (if ever) before I install that OS on any PC even if the PC already had a 64 bit processor. So unless the 64 bit Athlon 2800+ would be faster than the Sempron 3100+ (or at least comparable) there really wouldn't be any reason for me to spend the extra money to get one. The cost of the bundle on Outpost is already a little over the budget I have available to repair this PC so spending even more to get something I won't use isn't a realistic option right now unless there is a very good reason to do it.. :)

The Outpost (Fry's ) bundles are always ECS motherboards unless they specify a brand. They are usually a good deal, you basically get the motherboard for free.

That's an ECS 755-A2 (or just an -A, doesn't matter). Solid choice in the bargain department ... got one right here myself.

That's a smoking good deal! What a nice combo for a high-end budget machine with good upgradability.

The purple PCB is usually a hint you're looking at ECS, by the way...
