So I have an empty Dell optiplex 7050 case and I was wondering what generic motherboard, if any, can go in there and screw in to the points securely?
Thank you.

Smart Alec Answer: A Dell Motherboard from the same class of system the case came from.

Real trying to help you Answer: not much probably, Dell has a really bad rep of using there own gear so you can't service or replace with aftermarket unless its a dell.
The holes tho look like it might align with a MATX, but i couldn't really answer your question 100% without messuing distance from mount to mount and then cross comparing it with board schematics online.

Or you can see if you can find a MATX and try to fit it.... but im like 80% sure it probably wont work.

To complete what aigomorla says:

I would think it's mATX as well. Probably the best best would be one of those boards that have a smaller than mATX footprint, like the Biostar A320.
While I know Dell is bad for non-standard parts, I doubt they would futz motherboard hole locations, since it would be too much of a headache for OEMs.

Looks like mATX as others have said, but knowing Dell, it is probably using a custom/proprietary motherboard standoff layout that will not be entirely compatible with mATX boards.
