Trying to monitor and log results on my MSI Neo4 Platinum. Seems Prime95 fails when CPU reach certain Temps. Another problem is Corecenter seems to be overriding my settings set in Bios/CoreCell. Tried NTune and got a PCI Lock warning. What are you using?

FSB 260Mhz
HTT 4X
CPU 2.6Ghz 1.4 v
Mem 2.5 -3 -3 -8 1T 2.85v
NB 1.65v

I'm using both nTune and CoreCenter to monitor, and both work fine for me. Same basic readings from each. I'm not overclocking however, and so I don't have your PCI lock and override issues.

Wish I could be more help. How hot is your CPU when Prime95 conks out?

do not use prime95 to test for stability.
use super_pi and do a 1million digit test.

prime95 is crap for 64bit boxes. has been reported many times it crashes on ppl running stock speeds with amd64s.

im running the nf4 and i found my optimal is 272fsb @ 9x. my memory bandwith is well over 7000mbs.

Hey man for the Lock alert I got that too thinking I had it locked in the bios. Go into your Bios and check that you have all the Bus/CPU features on disabled not on spread spectrum as this will auto overclock all components based on HTT speed. I have used corecell, ntune, and fanspeed all seem to give em temps within a +- 3C range so not sure it matters which you use. I would however overclock yoursefl on this board, as ntune caused HD corruption on my system after way OCing the PCIE bus.

On my own with a 3200+ 90nm I have gotten stable 270x10 with memory at 1:1 and HTT at 270x4. Primes for 24hours no errors and hasnt crashed yet.

hope this helps

The thing is that Core Center seems to undo volatage settings for memory and cpu I set in Bios/Core Cell. Core Center doesn't show what I set in Bios and it shouldn't change them. I installed Mother Board Monitor. I loaded it once b4 I reloaded OS and it had settings for most mobos except nforce 4's. It also had setting for certain 'Winbond monitoring chips which I noticed on the MSI Neo4 Plat had when installing my Zalman 7000b AiCu /w blue LED. I'd like a monitoring program that can log to a file while running mem tests.
