What monitor should i get?

I'm in the market for a good monitor and am willing to spend around $250. I'm currently interested in the Samsung Syncmaster 955DF. Any recommendations on what monitor I should buy?

What are you looking for in a monitor?

I would recommend the Samsung 700NF----- 17" aperture grille, perfectly flat, blah, blah blah you get the picture....

BUT... i happened accross a better deal.... the KDS AV195TF HERE at tigerdirect... i just ordered one on saturday, and It should get here on friday......

The AV195TF is aperture grille, perfectly flat, but it's 19" and will do 1600x1200 at 85hz(a big deal for me)......

This is all the advice I know to give you without more information from you. 🙂

I absolutely LOVE samsung monitors!!! I have a 753df and the picture on it always manages to impress my friends. For the price (150 after a mail-in rebate), I don't think you could do any better. Seems other people have noticed as well. At the last lan party I went to... 5 out of the 10 kids had samsung monitors! They all loved them as well. All of them were the 955df model except mine.

I have the 753DF and like it... got it around for 90 bucks last summer : )
