I was thinking about an LCD, but for the money I have heard they don't look that great in all applications. I want something that looks really good, but need to keep the price close to 300.00 max. I would like a 19", but will settle on 17" if the money runs out. I was looking at flat screens, they seem to look better. I want to see bright good looking color, especially in games. Any suggestions?
 
What I meant was the Samsung 900NF is one of the most heavily recommended 19" Flatscreen AG monitor here since it has an excellent price/performance ratio.
 
Okay thanks, I am reading some reviews and I have heard of that one before, sounds good, know any place to get a good price on it?

By the way what is the differance between the NF and DF?

Also, I would like everyones opinion. This monitor will be used for some gaming, a lot of web surfing, possibly CAD, but basically the usual stuff. Is the 19" worth the price over the 17"?
