what moinitor should i get

what kind of monitor should i get? i have 350 dollars to spend.
im looking for a monitor that has a good refresh rate and it 17' or 19'

The sony G400 is the absolute best, but it's expensive.

Sumsung monitors have a really nice image and there cheep.

Usually for $350 I recommend the Samsung 955DF except you specify that you want a good refresh rate and that is pretty much the 955DF's weakness. You might want to look into a Hitachi CM715 (the higher end CM771 is much more) as that is another good shadow mask. Good AG monitors like the KDS AV-195TF and Samsung 900NF run about $430.

That does leave the NEC FE950 and NEC AS95F though which are around $350.

Btw, these are all 19" monitors.

Mitubishi Diamond plus 91 Little more than $350 Around $400 shipped. but well worth the extra cash. looks just as good as the sony in my opinon.

You could get the Viewsonic PF790 at Amzon for $390 using the 50 off electronics cupon. It's a very good monitor.
